I am writing my piece on my favorite short day run - the vineyards on Eastern Long Island. I am braving the crappy Temperatures and on and off rain to run out there today and take pictures to go along with my route map and Vineyard tasting suggestions. Weather aside, the biggest challenge is going to be riding home after tastings...there are over 34 Vineyards there!

Check Out " Blackthorn Resort ".. Biker & Motorhead friendly.. Lots going on and a nice scenic ride up.. 2 1/2 hour ride from NYC..
