Riding in Long Islands Wine Country - Our favorite Vineyards

If you get the chance to come to Long Island, I highly recommend a ride to Eastern Long Island and the Long Island Wine Country. LI is producing some of the nicest Bordeaux style wines this side of the Atlantic. The region is also famous for Merlots and Cab Francs.

We go out there often - sometimes by car for events so our daughter Anastasia can join us, and other times on my bike. Here are some pictures from two of my family's favorite vineyards: Lieb Family Cellars and Wolfer Estates.

Pictures from Wolfer Estates on the South Fork by Bridge Hampton. An excellent vineyard with memorable wines and views. Note: my daughter isn't drinking wine - that's a grape juice called Verjus... Don't call CPS on us!
